Cécile Nebbot

Cécile Nebbot (born 1967 in Marseille, France) is an economist and communications strategist.

Since joining as a trusted advisor to founder Madeleine Schwinge in the early stages of the re:future lab and, since 2021, as co-director and head of relationship and communication, Cécile has played a key role in growing the Institute into an organization with global reach and influence.

She helped to sharpen its positioning, strengthen its collaborations, and promote curatorial and educational projects. The climax of their successful partnership was the highly acclaimed HOLITOPIA Symposium 2023.

After four years of successful pioneering work and now back in her native France, Cécile remains affiliated with the institute as a curatorium member and representative in Paris.

She holds Masters degrees in economics—econometrics, multi-criteria decision analysis—and in brand content. Prior to the re:future lab, her career has been forged alongside singular players: Paris City Council, strategy and transformation consultancies (London, New York, Paris). She is passionate about speculative models and systemic approaches to decipher socio-economic phenomena, predict structural or cyclical trends, and the outbreak of future crisis
