Gesine Borcherdt is a Berlin-based curator and author for Die Welt, Welt am Sonntag, ART, BLAU International, Art Review, AD Germany, Ursula—the art magazine of Hauser & Wirth, and other art publications. She has curated art exhibitions and contributed to artists' publications and exhibition catalogs, notably for the 12th Berlin Biennale. She has taught at art academies such as Ruhr-Universität Bochum and Universität der Künste, Berlin.
