Solimán López (b. 1981, Burgos) is a conceptual artist and art historian with a focus on digital art and technologies, and the "infra-thin" between humans, techs and societies. He works in Paris (Updated Art Studio) and Valencia (ESAT LAB Innovation Dept., Escuela Superior de Arte y Tecnología). Solimán uses 3D techniques, computational tools, AI, VR/AR and digital synchronization, as for "DAI", an AI-powered identity document, and “Harddiskmuseum"—the first museum in history to be encoded in DNA genetic data—, a unique art repository that tackles questions about humanity, art production and cultural heritage. López work has been shown worldwide (Brazilian Digital Arts Biennial, Némo Paris International Biennal of Digital Arts, Chronus Art Center Shanghai, ZKM Karlsruhe, Nuit Blanche Paris). As a sought-after speaker, he was a guest at Google Campus Madrid, TEDx Valladolid, and MediaLab Prado Madrid.
