The World Futures Studies Federation (WFSF) is a UNESCO and UN consultative partner and global NGO with members in over 60 countries.

WFSF brings together academics, researchers, practitioners, students and futures-focused institutions. It is a forum for stimulation, exploration and exchange of ideas, visions, and plans for alternative futures, through long-term, big-picture thinking and radical change.

The theme of the 24th World Conference reflects the vast dimensions and dynamics of futures studies, and describes an arena in which to explore the breadth of our imagination - an open universe to tackle the challenges of our time, articulated around desirable visions, sustainable progress and hope.

How to embark upon the future and find solutions at both individual and societal levels? What speculative scenarios can help us build sustainable and desirable futures? The re:future lab investigates some of the pressing issues of our time by giving a voice to pioneers and advocates of positive narratives that can trigger structural mutations, be they social, political, cultural, or all of them combined.
